New piece underway 2

Same design after I worked on it a bit more.
Thinking about using this as the final idea for the piece.

Took off the sharp edges and squiggles. This is the basic outline, will be working the inside a lot.

New piece underway

Started a new project while I'm waiting for my oil painting to dry before I can put on another layer.
I have 6 pannels of masonite boards. These last a lifetime and then some, sturdy, and not too heavy to paint on.
I'll be doing a series of 6 pannels with graffiti...
this is a sketch of the first. Of course, this will probably change around quite a bit while I'll be spraying paint onto the boards. Thinking about a black background and yellow and green colors, possibly a light puple outline.
Will keep you posted.

Bushism

Old drawing from 04.
The small figure (Mr. Bush) in the middle is cutting the oil lifeline of the two large countries. I had fun doing this piece...

Party with Lunaclips

Airbrushing some models with blacklight paint at a rave party.
Can't remember... but I think I brushed 3 models.

Love this neon paint. Esp. when I brushed neon pink underneath the model on the top the paint glowed really well. Paint was a bit thick so I mixed water and paint 3:2. Only prob. was that the paint took a shit load of time to dry even when it wasn't mixed down.

I used a different type of blacklight neon paint in tubes also. This paint was awful. Didn't dry and rubed off really easily. It glowed more then the paint I used for the airbrushig, but too messy.

These are photos I snapped while I was on break. Air brushing hours on end is pretty damn harsh.

The models here were really easy to work with. Knew how to keep still. Sounds like an easy thing to do, but trust me, most models aren't professional and move a lot. I use acrylic so if they move the acrylic smears and cracks.
But some of these girls were pretty cool. Esp. the one on the left. I keep bumping into her around town.
You rock girl.

Photo from when I was invited to a magazine release party to do live airbrushing in 07. Got to meet cool people here! Who knew this was gonna be the begining as a body painting artist?

06 Inking

Inking on a friend.

Photo from 2006.

The design is something I've been working on for a while.

I used India Ink with a brush... prob. took about hour and a half. Towards the end started flaking a bit and the ink didn't brush on smoothly. This is when I started getting interested in body painting.

Gotta Love Art!

No, this isn't me. I'm the one taking the photograph.
But the vision is what the artist is about!
